Play Session Tickets
These are non-refundable but we are able to offer transfers to an alternative date. If you create an account when booking, you will be able to amend you own bookings. Any issues please email:
We also accept walk-ins if you have any problems booking online, this is in line with our overall capacity. If we are already at full capacity we may not be able to allow walk-in’s.
Play Session Rules
We do not allow impromptu parties in our main seating area. We do welcome group bookings but these can’t include:
- Cake
- Candles
- Balloons
- Presents
- Own decorations or tableware
We will email each group booking host to reconfirm these requirements but the disclaimer on the booking pages also outlines this information. Customers must tick this box to proceed which consents to abiding by the rules set out above.
Socks must be worn at all times by adults and children.
Please do not allow your child to climb up slides, only to use them to slide down.
Please always wear socks no shoes on our external bouncy pillow. Please do not use when wet or raining.
Please do not use photography inside The Play Barn unless you only have your child in the image or video. This is to ensure privacy is maintained at all times for children with protection orders. If you do take images that include other children, please do not post these to social media.
Please be aware you are responsible for your children at all times whilst onsite.
Please be aware that only food and drink purchased from The Play Barn or main restaurant can be consumed onsite
Please adhere to the play session time you have booked onto and leave in a timely manner when this has ended. Our timings are:

We reserve the right to close early dependant on bookings and any special events or private hires. We highly recommend booking online or at least checking the booking system for daily timings before arrival.
Party
Parties are held during normal opening hours alongside our public play sessions.
Party slots are:
- Monday to Saturday 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00
- Sunday 10:30-12:30 and 13:30-15:30
Up to 30 children with 12 adults included for free, additional adults are charged at £2.50 per person.
Exclusive use of the party area banquet style plus up to 3 tables next to the party area reserved for family and close friends.
£14.50 per child with a £50 deposit at least 4 weeks before the date of your party then the balance due on or before the day.
Includes entry and a lunchbox containing;
- Sandwich
- Choice of White, Brown or gluten free bread
- Fillings to choose from: Cheese, Ham, Cream Cheese, Tuna Mayo, Marmite or Jam.
- Choice of 4 snacks:
- Fresh fruit, dried fruit, chocolate bar, biscuits, crisps, yoghurt, cheese.
- Refillable jugs of squash and water.
You can choose the contents of the lunchboxes and sandwich preferences in advance or we can choose a selection of snacks for you and provide 3 different sandwich platters.
We also provide plates, cups and napkins or can help you lay the tables with your own items.
You can bring your own cake, we can provide a knife for cutting and assist with lighting candles.
Special dietary requirements like dairy-free or vegan can be catered for but details must be disclosed in advance, including any food allergies such as nuts or soya.
We are a nut-free venue (Full allergen lists available on request).
You can also hire the party area only for £50 and manage your own food and entries.
We have a woodland themed backdrop and table coverings, you are very welcome to bring your own balloons and decorations but we ask that you please take them home with you afterwards. No loose confetti or glitter is allowed.
Parties run for 2 hours and time can be managed however you prefer. A popular option is to spend 1hr playing, 30 mins for food and then a final 30 mins in the soft play.
Please leave within 10 minutes of your party slot ending, staff will need to clear down, deep clean and sanitise the area afterwards.
Private Hire
Exclusive private hire of the venue where we close to the general public.
Party slots are:
- Monday - Friday 14:30-16:30
- Saturday 15:00-17:00
- Sunday 14:00-16:00
Catered = £280 for private hire of venue + £5.95 per child (includes a lunchbox) booking secured with £50 Deposit.
Non-Catered = £400 (host provides own food) booking secured with £100 Deposit.
Deposit at least 4 weeks beforehand and the balance due in full on or before the date of your party booking.
Each lunchbox contains: 1/2 a sandwich and 4 snacks.
Up to a maximum of 110 people including all adults, babies, younger children and children in attendance.
The party area is set up banquet style and can seat up to 30 children. There are also 30 tables in our main seating area.
Special dietary requirements like dairy-free or vegan can be catered for but details must be disclosed in advance, including any food allergies such as nuts or soya.

Staff will be on hand selling our usual hot and cold beverages, cakes, muffins and pre-packaged chocolate bars and other snacks. Our kitchen will be closed for hot food.
We can set up an optional tab for your guests if preferred.

Special Events
We run Princess and Disco events across the year, mostly during school holidays. These are charged at a higher ticket price than our regular play sessions.
These are non-refundable but we will always try our best to transfer you to the next upcoming event if you’re unable to attend.
Kitchen
We recommend ordering food at least 45 mins before the end of you play session. Our kitchen serves hot and cold food between these times:

Food orders requested outside of these times will be made at the discretion of staff. Your order may be rejected or offered as a take-away.
